About the event
Join us for a fun night of crafting with polymer clay. This class is ideal for any artist 10+.
In this class, we will learn the basics of using polymer clay to create accessories or small decor/gifting items. We will cover safety, tool options, how to use cutters, how to fix common problems and how to use specialty embelishments to create stunning works of art. Participants will have access to a wide array of cutters and tools that they can use to create jewelry, keychains, bookmarks, or even small wall art pieces. This is a great class for anyone who is interested in taking up polymer clay at home, or wanting to explore using professional tools. This class has more freedom, and less themed instruction than other classes.
This class is 3 hours. The first hour is spent creating our art from polymer clay. The second hour is when our jewelry bakes, and during this time we can socialize work on a small craft, and have some snacks. During this time, the boutique will also be open for any shopping needs you may have. The final hour is spent assembling our pieces and showing them off.
Please note, any attendee that is over 10 but under 14 must be chaperoned and the chaperone must have a ticket as well. In this class we will be using sharp blades and tools that require extra safety measures be taken.
